1986 - 2026

1986

A promising start

MW Programmation was founded in 1986 by Marcel and Éliane Weber, at the dawn of the CNC (Computer Numerical Control) era. Passionate about these new technologies, Marcel was already offering outsourced programming services, laying the foundations for a company focused on innovation.

1989

The beginning of ALPHACAM

In 1989, a pivotal encounter changed the course of history: Marcel met Mr Livingstone, the creator of the Alphacam software (then APS). MW Programmation therefore became Alphacam’s very first global reseller, a strategic partnership that would shape its future.

1995

Gradual growth

The initial operations took place in the family home, with an attic converted into offices and a small workshop next door for training clients on a CNC machine. Success came quickly: in 1995, the company rented its first premises in the village, allowing it to expand its team and improve its facilities.

1996

Establishment of a branch in France

To expand its sales, MW Programmation partnered with Christian Voirol to create MW France, dedicated to marketing Alphacam in France.

2000

Modern premises and a strong team

In the late 2000s, Marcel Weber purchased and renovated the rented building, creating the current offices: two training rooms, a conference room, a workshop and modern workspaces. The team had grown to 23 members, several of whom had over 10, 25 or even 30 years of experience, guaranteeing expertise and stability.

2007

Innovation and diversification

To meet the growing needs of its clients, MW Programmation began developing its own solutions, such as MW-DNC, for transferring programs to machines. The company, initially focused on software sales, support and training, started its shift towards developing customised solutions tailored to each customer’s specific needs.

2012

The arrival of the second generation

Michael Weber joined the company in 2012, developing post-processors and accompanying his father to client sites to learn the ropes. Pauline Zuccoli, meanwhile, had been involved with the company since 2009, supporting her parents in administration, and officially joined the team in 2018.

2020

Change of leadership & expansion into Austria

Since 2020, Pauline Zuccoli and Michael Weber have been leading MW Programmation, continuing their parents’ vision: putting the client first and offering high-quality services. During the same period, the company expanded internationally with MW-CADCAM, a subsidiary founded with Stefan Madlmayr to market Alphacam in Austria.

2026

40 years of innovation

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, MW Programmation has adopted a new logo, a modernised visual identity and a redesigned website, symbolising four decades of innovation, growth and expertise serving its clients.

We support workshops in the evolution of their digital workflows.

MW Programmation SA is an official Hexagon partner for the sale, installation and support of ALPHACAM, DESIGNER and NCSIMUL software in Switzerland.

We provide comprehensive support across the entire digital chain, from 3D modelling to simulation and NC code generation, as well as workshop supervision.

Our technical team installs the software in your environment, configures it according to your machines and methods, trains your staff and provides ongoing technical support.

Thanks to our close customer support and our in-depth knowledge of the field, we guarantee a seamless, efficient and sustainable integration of these solutions into the heart of your production.
